Build a network

Represent existing traffic
Enter existing turning-movement counts at each node as a baseline layer, so generated traffic is always added to a real starting point. Use one mode or many.
Define activities
Set up one or more land-use activities, each with its own trip generation rates across the time periods your assessment needs to cover.
Calculate trip generation
TurnManager calculates the trips each activity generates, so the same rate is applied consistently everywhere it's used in the model.
Distribute traffic through the network
Generated trips are distributed along your network and combined with existing volumes at every node they pass through. TurnManager handles primary, pass-by, and diverted trips.
Layers & scenarios
Keep existing and generated traffic on separate layers, and run alternative scenarios side by side without rebuilding the network each time.
